Da Nong Da Fu Plain Forest Park, situated between the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range, covers 1250 hectares. Positioned as a leisure and wellness forest park, it integrates recreation, organic production, local culture, and sustainable development, connecting agriculture, tribal community culture, and forest therapy resources. It strives to create energy-saving, carbon-reducing, and eco-friendly tourism services and multifunctional spaces.

The art installation "Nest Building Project VII—Foreign Wild Boar" combines domestically produced bamboo and wood with local natural and cultural connotations to create a beautiful and functional land art installation. Inspired by the nest-building behavior of the Foreign wild boar, the work uses Taiwan cedar and bamboo to design a complex layered structure and integrates public space functions, providing visitors with an immersive experience of interaction between animals and the environment. Simultaneously, the artwork serves as a multi-functional space, supporting cultural performances, educational outreach, and community activities. With recycling and carbon footprint reduction as its core concepts, it showcases the innovative application potential of bamboo and wood.

Through the practice of artistic creation and sustainability, the park continues to deepen its cultural brand value. In the future, it will expand the cross-disciplinary application of domestically produced materials, combining them with diverse forms such as sound and light art and technological art. It will also gradually optimize its facilities, host multi-level cultural and ecological activities, attract more tourists and community participation, and gradually shape itself into a distinctive tourist attraction in the Hualien-Taitung area, becoming a must-visit ecological and cultural landmark both domestically and internationally.
